Emma Christensen has no inkling attending her senior prom would be a life-changing event. When she wakes the morning after, her body aches, her mind can’t focus, and none of her mom’s home remedies stall the pain. After several restless days, she’s able to attend school again. However, lunch with a friend throws more agony her way. She’s been changed… changed into a vampire.
Ten years later, Emma returns to Indianapolis after promising her once best friend she’d accompany her to their tenth high school reunion. Her reason is two-fold: visit her parents, whom she’s distanced herself from, and find out who made her into the blood-sucking creature so he can restore her humanity.
Zach Matthews, former basketball player and the once love of Emma’s life, returns for the reunion with one goal in mind: tell the creature he created she’s meant to spend her existence with him as his life-mate. The road the two traverses creates more pitfalls when Zach’s maker, Francisco Navarre, demands Zach complete the transition by coupling with the young vampire. Zach’s reluctance spurs the Spaniard to kidnap Emma to force himself on her.
Will Emma escapes Francisco’s clutches before he fouls her? And, even if she does, will she and Zach be on the run from the ruthless leader for eternity? But, more importantly, is there anyone in the world who has the ability to grant her one request?
If escape is a reason for reading, "Change Me Back" is the vehicle. Lynne Anders' first paranormal book brings new life to the vampire genre. You’ll recognize legendary characteristics, but there are plenty of updates and accommodations to modern life that make the story fresh.
Once "changed" by Zach at her senior prom, Emma, now undead, is on a mission to regain her mortal self. Her mission is challenged by her attraction - rather, addiction - to Zach and countered by an evil ancient whose designs and desires thwart both the mission and the addiction. The action starts immediately and moves - erratically, erotically, enthrallingly - to an ending that explodes in a force of nature, plot twists and, ultimately, fulfillment.

What an exciting love story. I can’t remember reading a story that kept me on the edge of my seat as this one did, anxious to turn the page to see what happened next. I also enjoyed the way Lynne told the story from each character’s point of view. It brought added life to the main characters.
Is it possible vampires really live? After reading this story, what will you believe? I now look at people differently wondering if they are really who or what they appear to be.

Lynne is brilliant in her first foray into the paranormal world with this portrayal of vampires. “Change Me Back” brought out emotions that surprised me. It is a unique love story about giving, protection, and eternal love. Now if I see someone in a restaurant ordering a rare steak, I may wonder… are they?

“Change Me Back” is an exhilarating vampire story complete with villainy, betrayal, and love. One wonders if Zack, because of his hope for the future, will choose to become the circle leader or leave it to others? Will Emma remain a vampire or leave the immortal world to reestablish contact with her human family? This story will keep you guessing. I highly recommend this great read.

Never Let Go is the continuation of Emma and Zach's journey. The two vampires have relocated in Indiana to be near Emma's family and friends. Phyllis, Emma and Zack's friend from high school, introduces them to her new love interest.
With threats from a vampire bounty hunter and Alexander, Francisco's head goon, once again on the scene, the four rush to California to escape their clutches. However, Zach is kidnapped and Emma, along with the West Coast Circle Members, must search for her life-mate. It appears Emma is too late. Her husband lies unmoving on the floor of the mansion after her daring rescue attempt. Her journey forward is racked with torture and redemption.
“Never Let Go” starts where Lynne Anders first book, “Change Me Back,” left off - Zach and Emma’s wedding and happily ever after for eternity. Just the way I want my stories to end. That idyllic vision is not to be, of course, because there are vampires who are, you know, evil. They connive with bounty hunters and turncoats to use the unsuspecting lovers in a scheme to release the ancient evil one whose freedom would make it hard for a reader to sleep at night. With a diminished but patient vampire still at large, this book isn’t nearly put to bed, but makes one eager for the next adventure.
What do you think? I just love my cover artist.
Just when it appears vampires Emma and Zach Matthews are headed for their happily-ever-after, news from El Salvador catapults the life-mates and their friends into a whirlwind of danger. Francisco Navarre, former circle leader and Emma and Zach’s nemesis, has escaped prison with the assistance of his long-time henchman Alexander Byrne and a band of recruits. Francisco vows his ragtag army will track down and end the vampire couple for their role in his fall from grace, and imprisonment. With those two creatures out of the way, Alexander agrees nothing can stop his master’s scheme to create a new world order with vampires subjugating humans. Reeling from the danger in Indiana, Emma and Zach return to the West Coast to lead the threat away from her parents’ home. The couple narrowly escapes their pursuers’ clutches, but Alexander and his recruits manage to seize their best friend, Phyllis. Zach bands with the circle leader in Oceanside, California, where strength in numbers will help to combat Alexander’s army. Emma heads to Vancouver Island in Canada, where she sequesters at the West Coast Elders’ conclave and trains with the powerful leaders, who believe she is the only one with the unique skillset to eliminate Alexander. All she needs to do is hone her talents quickly enough, and develop the mental stamina to manage all of the imminent threats… not to mention change the fate of all of humankind. Then she can finally live the peaceful life of her dreams with her beloved Zach. No problem, right?
This third entry in the Chosen Circle Series held me spellbound. Alexander was one ruthless brut who only wanted what wasn’t his. Thankfully, he got what he deserved. What an ending to the tale. And now the two lovebirds can finally have their happily ever after.

What a journey Lynne Anders has taken us on a wild ride in this series. Emma and Zach traveled from the Midwest to the West Coast to dodge Francisco and Alexander’s evil grip. Due to their deep love for each other, they managed to endure the worst. Francisco and Alexander’s end does not disappoint. I enjoyed the complete series. Thank you, Lynne.

I was hoping that Francisco and Alexander would suffer as they made Emma and Zack. Lynne did not let me down. She also surprised me with her ending. She definitely has a winner in this story. - Bernie Christensen
Well, Emma became what the West Coast Elders prophesized. All because Zach fell in love with a human, one he could not exist without by his side. I didn’t like him in the first book, Change Me Back. I did forgive him a little once Emma trusted the vampire. And look what she became. That young vampire not only existed in the vampire world, she became a leader, a force to be reckoned with. Nice job, Lynne Anders.
